What is Ramzan?

The Reward (Sawab) of Farz Ibadaat is raised up to 70 Times and the Reward of Nawafil becomes equal to that of Farz ibadat. This Month is divided into three main sections.

The first 10 Days are known as “Rahmat”, and is known as First Ashra, Second Ashra is known as “Maghfirat” and Third Ashra (last 10 days of the month) is known as “Ninja”.

In the Last 10 Days, 10 Lakh Muslims get freedom from Jahannum each night. 27th is the special Night of Mahe Ramzan.

Significance of Ramzan in Islam

According to Islamic belief, the Quran was first revealed to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) during this month. Thus, it is considered a month of spiritual reflection and increased devotion to Allah. Fasting in Ramzan

Can children and elderly people fast during Ramzan?

Children and elderly people are exempted from fasting during Ramzan. However, they can participate in other acts of worship and do good deeds during this month.

What should one do if they are unable to fast during Ramzan?

If someone is unable to fast during Ramzan due to illness or other reasons, they can make up for the missed fasts later. They can also give Fidya and Kaffara.
Fidya and Kaffarah are two options for those who are unable to fast during Ramzan. Fidya is the compensation for missed fasts, and it is given in the form of feeding a needy person for every missed fast. Kaffarah is the expiation for breaking a fast intentionally without a valid reason. It involves fasting for 60 consecutive days or feeding 60 needy people.
